Nina & John’s Wedding

July 26, 2010

After watching his two sisters get married,  John and his gorgeous wife-to-be Nina, had all the best tips on how to throw a fantastic wedding celebration! They started the day by meeting up on the beach for a champagne picnic and a photo shoot with their closest friends…and then ran off to get hitched at the Vancouver Museum. It was gorgeous! Everywhere we looked there were  stunning views of the city and Vanier Park.

John & Nina were treated to the culinary mastery of their family friend David Peake of Peake Catering. Great food, great people, and lots of love are a guaranteed way make a great party!

You know what also makes a good party? A photoboth! We combined forces and used our lighting gear with Nina & John’s camera to set up a little photo booth in the corner of ther reception. It was the life of the party! So glad we did it. 🙂

Nicole & Jim’s Wedding

July 15, 2010

Nicole and Jim’s relaxed and loving nature helped create one of the most easy going weddings I have ever been to.  It was an absolute dream! These two smart cookies also figured out that the SFU Alumni Centre is a gorgeous wedding venue. I was thoroughly impressed. The campus architecture provided a stunning yet neutral backdrop for us to run around, take photos, and throw confetti…who doesn’t l like throwing confetti? Seriously good times! On top of that, there were spectacular fields of lupins within walking distance for us to picnic in. Strawberries, champagne & animal crackers are the secret to a great day…and a beautiful marriage for Nicole and Jim.  😉
